Dr. Nieca Goldberg of the American Heart Association says, “Women can experience a heart attack without chest pressure. Instead they may experience shortness of breath, pressure or pain in the chest or upper abdomen, dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting, upper back pressure or extreme fatigue.” Dr. Goldberg advises that if you are a woman and experience these symptoms you should not hesitate to call 911 and get evaluated immediately.
